Your academic regalia has been ordered for you through the College Store. There is no charge for the regalia, and you are permitted to keep it after Commencement.
After much consideration and to ensure the safety of our graduates, their families and friends, and our employees, the Commencement Planning Committee has decided that two ceremonies will be held this year. By holding two ceremonies, all the graduates will be celebrated in person, while also allowing for adequate social distancing.
On May 26, 2022, ceremonies will be held at 2 PM and 6 PM in the APGFCU Arena for graduates of the following divisions:
- A 2 PM ceremony for graduates of the Arts and Humanities and the Behavioral and Social Sciences divisions.
- A 6 PM ceremony for graduates of the Business and Applied Technology, Nursing and Applied Health Professions, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math divisions.
Students will be required to RSVP if they plan to attend their Commencement ceremony and will be permitted to bring guests. Graduates will receive an official invitation in the mail in April and an official email with further instructions on how to RSVP, pick up your cap and gown, tickets, etc. In order to RSVP for Commencement, students must first apply for graduation.
These will be ticketed events. The College will close at Noon that day to prepare for Commencement. The ceremonies will be livestreamed and recorded versions will be available for viewing on our website at a later date.
